Atlanta, GA (June 5, 2008) – Reach Records is proud to announce the launch of the 'Unashamed Tour' which began on June 3, 2008 featuring Reach Records recording artists Lecrae, Trip Lee, Sho Baraka, and Tedashii. With a mission to spread the gospel by calling each city to live an unashamed life for the Lord, entry to most stops will be FREE. Special guests will appear in select cities.
The 'Unashamed Tour' will visit more than 25 cities nationwide and internationally, including Los Angeles, Dallas, Seattle, and Miami. The tour will conclude in the UK with stops in London and Birmingham, just to name a few.
"We want to steward the platform the Lord has given us," says Ben Washer, CEO of Reach Records. “With so many eyes and ears tuned into our music, we want to point that attention to Christ through the tour, praying that others will take notice of Him and live for the Lord."
The 'Unashamed Tour' is the first for Reach Records since debuting on the scene in 2003. Based in Memphis, the powerhouse record label consists of four unique Christian rap artists who are all unashamed of the gospel and spreading the Gospel message through their lyrics.
Dove Award nominee Lecrae, the first artist signed to the label, is most recognized for hit singles 'Jesus Muzik' and 'Prayin For You' from his groundbreaking album 'After the Music Stops,' which continues to top Soundscan charts even after releasing in 2006. Trip Lee, the youngest artist on the label, peaked to #6 on Billboards charts with his latest release and sophomore album, '20/20.' The roster also includes Houston's Tedashii and Canadian born Sho Baraka - both are preparing for their solo sophomore projects.
